<p>A new player in the entertainment scene is Backline Music Group. Backline came to us needing brand and communication tools that set them apart as a premium provider of events in Tampa Bay &#8211; sharp, atmospheric and professional. Combined with this, Backline required a functional, easy to navigate website that allowed music fans a simple way to find out what events were coming up and learn more about the artists they worked with.</p>
<p>Clear pH set about defining the Backline philosophy into a look and feel that was unique, clean and spoke to the audience. The logo came out looking right-on &#8211; clearly telling the audience what Backline Music group provides, and their attitude to their business. A fantastic color palate provided a wide range of uses &#8211; for the site and other communication tools like facebook and twitter, as well as print, merchandise, fliers. Backline stood out from day one and have a great base to build their brand around.</p>
<p>Clear pH then developed a site that provided Backline with a direct and proactive way to communicate with their community. Along with really good content management, our client knows their stuff and have done a fantastic job of keeping the site looking incredibly professional, long after we finished the site. We are really proud of the way it came out and really pleased that Backline have a site they can not just &#8216;manage&#8217; but keep looking professional and current, when so many websites deteriorate rapidly once their web developer receives payment. Clear pH prides itself on supplying clients with the &#8216;keys&#8217; to their site, and there is no better example than Backline Music Group.</p>

In fact, the best creative designers can make this happen; you can read their colors like words. Here at Clear p<span style="color: #2891d7;">H</span>, we take this aspect of branding to the max with our designs concepts.</p>
<p>When creating a brand, the <strong><span style="color: #00ff00;">c</span><span style="color: #ff0000;">o</span><span style="color: #00ccff;">l</span><span style="color: #ffcc00;">o</span><span style="color: #cc99ff;">r</span> </strong>scheme is a <strong>VERY</strong> important characteristic. Colors create an intangible characteristic to the brand that makes a first impression and has a lasting effect.</p>
<p>Would the term <strong>BLACK</strong> and <strong><span style="color: #0000ff;">BLUE</span></strong> mean anything if it didn’t refer to a tender bruise? Would your company’s CFO prefer to be in the <strong><span style="color: #f60812;">RED</span></strong> or in the <strong>BLACK</strong>? Would you dare wear <span style="color: #ffffff;">white</span> (stumped? just highlight with your mouse) to a funeral? <strong><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Rosy</span></strong> cheeks could mean you’re flushed with embarrassment from falling flat on your face, or it could mean your boss praised your work unexpectedly in front of colleagues. These pallets of colors stir up a range of emotions which convey different messages.</p>
<p>A great brand evokes an emotion that has a call to action. That emotion can call you to donate to charity, buy food, use the product, or trust the spokesperson. Once you participate in that action the brand becomes a part of your<strong> <span style="color: #34ca37;">life</span></strong>. A brand starts with an image that encapsulates what that product, person or business stands for. Your relationship to this brand is, to an extent, an emotional reaction to the brand image followed by an experience and expectation.</p>
<p>This reaction starts by <strong>(1)</strong> seeing a brand, <strong>(2)</strong> your experience with that brand, and ends with <strong>(3)</strong> having an expectation for every time you come in contact thereafter.</p>
<p>“What&#8217;s in a name? That which we call a <strong><span style="color: #ff00ff;">rose</span></strong> by any other name would smell as sweet.” While Shakespeare makes a good point, no matter what we call a <strong><span style="color: #ff00ff;">rose</span></strong> its fragrance is sweet (OutKast would say &#8220;<strong><span style="color: #ff00ff;">Roses</span></strong> really smell like <strong><span style="color: #993300;">boo boo boo</span></strong>”). We can all agree that the color of the <strong><span style="color: #ff00ff;">rose</span></strong> is more important than the way it smells. These colors can determine the whole context of a relationship. Ladies, have you ever received<span style="color: #d4d42a;"><strong> yellow</strong> </span>roses on Valentine’s Day? Perfect color if he’s trying to keep you at bay as “just a friend.” Guys, if you’re trying to get your point across to your love interest, is there any other color that conveys your passion more than <strong><span style="color: #f80610;">red</span></strong>?</p>
<p>Colors shape our society; we can even go as far as saying our country. Did your political color translate to your ballot? We have a political belief system described by <strong><span style="color: #f80610;">red</span></strong>,<strong> <span style="color: #0000ff;">blue</span></strong> and even <strong><span style="color: #800080;">purple</span></strong> and <strong><span style="color: #008000;">green</span></strong>! 1861 to 1865 was marked by an entire war based on skin color. How does that make you feel? “<strong><span style="color: #f9050f;">Red</span></strong>, <strong><span style="color: #ffcc00;">yellow</span></strong>, <strong>black</strong> or <strong><span style="color: #ffffff;">white</span></strong>, we are precious in His sight.”</p>
<p>When branding, first think of the message you want to get across. Then match the correct <strong><span style="color: #339966;">c</span><span style="color: #993366;">o</span><span style="color: #00ccff;">l</span><span style="color: #ff0000;">o</span><span style="color: #ffcc00;">r</span></strong> that expresses your message. A great creative designer can turn your <strong><span style="color: #993300;">c</span><span style="color: #0000ff;">o</span><span style="color: #cc99ff;">l</span><span style="color: #ff6600;">o</span><span style="color: #ff0000;">r<span style="color: #99cc00;">s</span></span></strong> into words. Words, no doubt, are necessary and important. Just don’t forget the power of <strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">c</span><span style="color: #ffffff;">o</span><span style="color: #993300;">l</span>o<span style="color: #ee11d3;">r</span></strong>….and in some cases, the color of <strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">power!</span></strong></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For the first time, Travelers Insurance stepped out of house on a web project. Brown &amp; Brown Insurance and Clear pH spent six months developing and branding the new Travelers Wedding Insurance web site. The goal of the Clear pH design team was to create a simple and effective site that impacted the user with strong messaging, allowed the user to easily navigate and find an agent in their area, and finally to purchase insurance online.</p>
<p>The project required integration with Brown &amp; Brown internal systems, and approval from the stringent Travelers project leaders. Some of the key components included;<br />
</p>
<ul class="arrow_list">
<li> A custom map for searching to find Travelers agents in local area</li>
<li>A user-friendly online purchase process, including a matrix for selecting the most suitable coverage</li>
<li>A &#8216;quick-quote&#8217; process for moving through the sales process or investigation coverage in a fast way</li>
<li>Social media support, to encourage users to share this great product for Brides and grooms</li>
</ul>
<p><br />
The project achieved its goals, at a fraction of the cost of internal development, and with a great look and feel that mixes traditional Travelers design elements with evocative messaging and calls-to-action. Clear pH has been honored to work with two great firms in seeing this project come to fruition. Clear pH can combine quality design and rigorous systems requirements to produce effective enterprise web solutions, and it has been fantastic to work with some true corporate leaders to arrive at a successful outcome.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This past Saturday Marcedes Lewis, Tight End for the Jacksonville Jaguars and 2011 Pro Bowler, flew in from his home in Long Beach, California for a one day photo shoot. The purpose of the shoot was for his new website that the &#8220;Pro Athlete Branding Team&#8221; of Clear pH is creating. The shoot took place in Clearwater at the studio of Fashion Photographer Troy Plota. Troy&#8217;s work has been seen from billboards in Time Square to GQ Magazine for the likes of Calvin Klein, Van Huesen, Usher and Timberland. Marcedes was a natural in modeling everything from athletic gear to casual to business suits. Clear pH will now take these images and utilize them to show Marcedes in every aspect of his life off the field.</p>
<p>The goal of the Clear pH team, particularly with NFL athletes, is to make players &#8220;more than just a number,&#8221; said Richard Hughes, Creative Director. &#8220;Too often athletes’ careers are cut short. Many athletes put their websites in the hands of people who have no background in branding. Consequently, these individuals don’t understand that the website is the main &#8220;brochure&#8221; for the athletes lives and future business careers.&#8221; At the culmination of his 5<sup>th</sup> season, Marcedes approached Clear pH with his mother who assists in managing his off the field career, foundation and future. &#8220;The goal is simple, establish a strong brand, an icon that will give him the strength to be a recognized figure for potential endorsements now, or  future investment deals when he steps into the &#8220;afterlife,&#8221; said Hughes.</p>
<p>In spite of the money that some athletes make in their career, without the right image, too often once finished in their respective sport athletes are not taken seriously. There is an over emphasis on the glamour and bling factor instead of balancing their sports image with a serious business edge. &#8220;Branding in today’s market is essential, especially in a sport where the athletes wear helmets and fans cannot see their faces; it’s vital for the athlete to differentiate themselves from the competition. Players must establish why they are different. As early on in their careers as possible, athletes should etch into peoples’ minds their logo on merchandise, twitter icons, facebook icons and their nonprofit foundations, etc.&#8221;</p>
<p>Stay tuned for Marcedes’ brand roll out, expected by the end of March 2011. In his words&#8230; &#8220;it&#8217;s pure fire!&#8221;</p>

Having multiple clients in the golf industry it was also a great opportunity to see the latest products emerging on the market.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.clearph.com/wp-content/uploads/More_main1.jpg" rel="lightbox[2226]"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-2238" title="More_main" src="http://www.clearph.com/wp-content/uploads/More_main1.jpg" alt="" width="432" height="236" /></a>As avid golfers and a design firm that helps pro athletes brand themselves it was interesting to catch up with the PGA Tour&#8217;s own Ryan Moore. He became known for having a successful amateur career as well as for not accepting sponsorships or wearing any branded clothing. In November 2009, Moore became a part-owner of the golf equipment company Scratch Golf and played their clubs and sported the company&#8217;s logo. However, the following year Moore announced a deal with Adams golf and gave up his stake in Scratch Golf.</p>
<p>Now in 2011 his strategy has changed!! He has been very clever in his steps to create a shoe line with the involvement of his family called TRUE Linkswear (<a href="http://www.truelinkswear.com" target="_blank">www.truelinkswear.com</a>). We were blown away with the design and technology around the feel of walking barefoot, creating true natural balance and not to mention we can rock the shoes in the office on a Friday and head right out to play in the afternoon!</p>
<p>It goes to show after a stellar 2010 season his BRANDING is now in full swing&#8230; he is in the driving seat because he is creating products and is in control of his own brand. <p>Movember challenges men to change their appearance and the face of men’s health by growing a moustache. The rules are simple, start Movember 1st  clean-shaven and then grow a moustache for the entire month.  The moustache becomes the ribbon for men’s health, the means by which awareness and funds are raised for cancers that affect men.  Much like the commitment to run or walk for charity, the men of Movember commit to growing a moustache for 30 days.</p>
<p>Take a look at our final Mo results below as we celebrated with a Steve McQueen style shoot.</p>
<p>If you didn&#8217;t join us this year get ready for next year, Mo Bro&#8217;s or Sistas are invited&#8230; oh and thank&#8217;s to all our wives for putting up with us&#8230; although we did end up pretty studly!!</p>

The resort provides a gateway to one of the worlds very best dive locations, and provides its guests with a relaxed, fun place to enjoy their time out of the water too.</p>
<p>The resort provides a gateway to one of the worlds very best dive locations, and provides it&#8217;s guests with a relaxed, fun place to enjoy their time out of the water too.Clear pH helped drive a project that needed the full treatment  marketing messaging, new photography and a completely different look that shared all the Resort and the Island has to offer. With the help of Little Caymans tremendous and accommodating staff, we gathered up a great library of images, created some compelling messaging and gave the Resort a top-shelf look and feel.</p>
