Richard Hughes began his quest for design excellence at Staffordshire University and Cambridge. Richard’s passion for design ensured that informal education was already extensive from his time designing while in school in Wales or with his parents in Nigeria, Africa.
His professional career began in the port of Dubai, U.A.E., working on key accounts including Ramada Resorts, Pepsi and a variety of Proctor and Gamble products. Richard also learnt from some of the world’s best designers while in the Middle East and was involved with the design and marketing of the Dubai Desert Classic Golf Tournament, along with the F1 Powerboat World Championships Richard has since worked in a variety of design roles in the Cosmetics, Music, Banking and Entertainment industries.
Richard founded Clear pH more than 4 years ago and leads a team responsible for countless successful projects, happy clients and industry awards, including recent ADDY Awards at the local and regional level in all branding categories for 2009 – 2010.
Jason Hellowell
Director – UAE
With more than 15 years worth of experience doing business in the UAE and almost the equivalent in the world of digital marketing, Jason has an in-depth understanding of the way in which business is conducted in the region and an industry-wide network of contacts second to none.
An important part of Jason’s working experience has been in start-up businesses, including the launch of five new business ventures in the UAE with successful outcomes. In the field of digital marketing Jason has headed agencies for 14 years, advising a range of clients from different sectors on how to utilise this important business tool to grow and develop their own companies.
In the working environment Jason is an inspirational leader and have a noted ability to create a positive, go-getting attitude within teams that drives over achievement. With a strong, forward looking vision and the skills and knowledge to read business trends, Jason has been consistently successful at raising capital, strategic planning and developing companies through organic growth both in the UAE and across Europe.
