The Tampa Bay Wine & Food Festival, created and run by Southern Wine & Spirits had a goal to become as large as the Food Network’s festival hosted in Miami. Clear pH set a goal to create a brand that was fun by taking into account the “Platinum Chefs Challenge” a fun face off between the nations top chefs and voted on by the public…
This was one of those projects where everything from the start synced. One of our highly talented Illustrators, Doug Circle, created the dueling chefs. Placing a spatula in one hand and a ladle in the other, the chef-warriors took on a life of their own. Using their vector silhouettes we integrated them with real photography (spilling wine glasses and bottles) and gave the campaign some action and life that caught the viewers eye.
If you scroll below you can see how we integrated the chefs, the logo and the slogans across the board from print to collateral to billboards the campaign had great strength and synergy and became very recognizable in the Tampa Bay market. Clear pH was recognized by it’s peers in winning a Silver ADDY Award for the campaign in 2008. Since then we have done three more campaigns for TBWFF. Each time they get bigger and louder!
